Incorporated in 1974, Southern Metalcraft is a custom sheet metal fabricating firm located in Lithonia, Georgia. From the beginning we have been constantly striving to provide the most advanced processing capabilities to our customers. With all manufacturing services in-house we are able to handle any project, from the simple part to the complex assembly. From order taking through delivery our first priority is to meet your needs.

The most important and valued asset of SMI is our employees. Good equipment is only as good as those who operate it and we take pride in finding and keeping personnel that produce.  Our current workforce has been with us an average of 18 years. We believe in order for SMI to be as efficient as possible our employees must be versatile so most are cross-trained at multiple work centers. This affords us the opportunity to move employees to bottlenecked areas and avoid fabrication delays.
